Holidays seemed to be mainly a time for growing your hair. All three Scotch
boys at the right would fail inspection on the first day back if they didn't
get it cut. (Left to right: Phillip Spicer, Stephen Spicer, and David Wells).
We spent holidays at Mt Eliza. But at various times I got to go away
to holiday houses of:
- Anders McDonald's - at Cowes. The McDonald's had the latest Holden
Premier wagon, and I was (easily) impressed. We spent heaps of time listening
to Brian Cadd, and riding an Italian Vespa motor-bike (we must have been
ahead of our time, as Vespa's were the ultimate in dorkyness back then).
- Peter Olorenshaw's parents - at Healesville. The farm backed onto Badgers
Creek, and we spent time riding ponies, walking and playing table tennis.
Geoff and Pam Olorenshaw were his parents - other family members were Guy
Olorenshaw, Jody Olorenshaw, and Campbell Olorenshaw.
