|H.J. Leak Company Staff
During the life of any succesfull company, the development of new, innovative products can often be influenced by the correct choice of collaborators and staff. This is a list of names of such people, although not a lot of detail is available:
J.F. Hawkins was a director of H.J.Leak and Co.
E.H. Ashley became Chief Engineer at Leak, having commenced with them during the Second World War. He undertook research on loudspeaker motor (driver) development in the mid 1950's. He remained with Leak until 1969.
George Wise undertook development of mono pickups and pickup-arms for H.J. Leak.
Dr Don A. Barlow was engaged by Leak inthe late 1950's to develop the Sandwich Loudspeaker.
Ananta Sarkar undertook research on loudspeaker motor (driver) development for Leak in the mid 1950's.
S.W.Amos and C.G.Johnstone designed the Leak Troughline FM Tuner/s. Amos and Johnstone also published two papers in Wirless World on FM tuner deign (Sept 1952, and April 1955).
Mr Haddon wound transformers for Leak . This was an "out-sourced" activity. Partridge were used by Leak up until the TL/12 was released. Hinchley was used from the TL/10 onwards.
